Our up to date registered rules are on the FWA website. Once you get to the FWA webstie, the National Rules, SPSF Group Federal Rules and SPSF Group Victorian Branch Rules are our current rules.

CPSU Recruiter Information

CPSU has a national membership of 200,000 including colleagues employed right across the Victorian Public Sector as well as Associate and Retired members who wish to retain their support for, and the benefits of, belonging to their Union.

Together with our members, the Union conducts a never ending campaign to improve the terms and conditions of employment, as well as providing specialist individual help or representation if you need it.

 Commencing in 1885, our union has been around for 125 years this year and has achieved incredible improvements in the conditions of the Victorian Public Sector workers.

CPSU Branch Executive

The Victorian Branch Executive is made up of the Branch Officers and between meetings of Branch Council is responsible for the management of the Branch.

The current branch executive (2012 - 2016) consists of:

  • Peter LILLYWHITE(President)
  • Mark NESTOR (Vice-President)
  • Catherine DAVIES (Vice-President)
  • Karen BATT (Secretary)
  • Jim WALTON (Assistant Secretary)

CPSU Branch Council

The Victorian Branch Council is made up of the Branch Officers and Branch Councillors elected for a four year term from each of the ten Branch Electorates.

The number of Branch Councillors from each electorate will vary according to the size of the electorate.

The Branch Council is subject to the lawful direction of the Federal Council and Federal Executive and manages the business and affairs of the Victorian Branch.
