Workplace Violence Alarm

Youth Justice Occupational Violence Survey - an electronic survey was circulated to all Youth Justice Custodial members as part of the Health and Safety Representative Support Officer (HSRSO) project within the Department of Human Services (DHS) to ascertain any potential risk(s) that may be a contributing factor to occupational violence at your workplace.

The main survey findings are as follows:

DHS Re-Org with Less Humans

New DHS Org Structure Released.   CPSU has been assisting members for many months with the change process for DHS's state-wide restructure forced upon employees as 500 jobs are slashed.

Child Protection Practitioner Agreement

The new Heads of Agreement for a Child Protection Practitioner (CPP) Classification Structure has been signed between CPSU and the Department of Human Services
