TAC Geelong HQ Receives Official Blessing

Having opened for business in January this year, TAC's new building in Geelong has been now officially opened by Premier John Brumby with the Premier saying the new office would help create new jobs and drive economic growth in that region.

The new TAC HQ employs about 650 workers, with around 200 recruited new from Geelong after more than 300 existing staff accessed redeployment and redundancy benefits from CPSU's landmark employee assistance package choosing to stay in Melbourne.

About 170 employees have decided to shift to the area, while others commute daily, all benefiting from the assistance package.

Not surprisingly, as builders continue to put the finishing touches to the new facility, many members are inquiring about their entitlements and rights when it comes to workload, overtime, and leave.

Our comprehensive TAC Agreement sets out all our entitlements at work and CPSU Organiser Mike Atkinson can assist or members can contact CPSU on 03 9639 1822 or toll free on 1800 810 153 if they have issues that need addressing.

Please ask your colleagues to join CPSU to have their voice heard and their views represented.

Our 7 day a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year industrial protection ensures you have the principal public sector organisation looking after your working rights, winning wage increases, protecting your conditions, and providing personal industrial assistance when you need it.

CPSU MEMBERSHIP IS PROTECTION FOR YOUR MOST IMPORTANT ASSET. YOUR JOB.

Speak to a colleague today about the benefits of CPSU membership and have them contribute to our successes rather than just enjoying the benefits.

TOGETHER WE DO BETTER!
