Education Support Staff Recognition Week 2009

Updated 22/04/2016

It's time to recognise the hard work of the vital link in our education system.

CPSU began the SSO National Recognition Week in 2001 to celebrate the achievements of non-teaching staff in public schools across the country.

CPSU NATIONAL RECOGNITION WEEK 2009

Time to Celebrate!

From CPSU - The Union Representing Education Support Staff

  • CPSU began the SSO National Recognition Week in 2001 to celebrate the achievements of non-teaching staff in public schools across the country.
  • Very soon, letters will go to each school in Victoria, advising Principals that this year Recognition Week will be 17-21st August, 2009
  • CPSU asks for cooperation from Principals in organising events to showcase ES work, and celebrate their role in Victorian Schools.

WHY A RECOGNITION WEEK?

ESS deserve to be thanked for their tireless work in schools.

ESS have told us how much they enjoyed their schools' appreciation. Traditionally, most schools are more than happy to celebrate with Education Support Staff.

HOW DO WE BEGIN?

CPSU has produced a special kit, which we will send to you. It contains great ideas on how to organise the week's events.
