Our DHS reps have arranged a briefing in meeting room 20.26 at 50 Lonsdale St from 12 NOON on Friday 23 October 2009.

CPSU Organiser Kobie Howe and Team Leader Robert Laird will seek the views of members on the high level executive structure, the proposed process for matching and the stages in the process.

CPSU has organised regular meetings with the DHS change team to provide feedback during the process.

Our Victorian Public Service Agreement provides for affected staff to submit any alternatives to the proposal.

Our Agreement also provides mechanisms for union members to actively participate in consultation with management as well as processes to resolve disputes should any arise as a result of the changes.

CPSU requests that all members in the affected area give consideration to this proposal and attend the union briefing to raise any concerns.

Please talk to other members in your workplace who may be affected and forward this bulletin to any colleagues who may be interested in attending the briefing.

Please distribute this bulletin and ask your colleagues to join CPSU to have their voice heard and their views represented.

Our 7 day a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year industrial protection ensures you have the principal public sector organisation looking after your working rights, winning wage increases, protecting your conditions, and providing personal industrial assistance when you need it.

CPSU MEMBERSHIP IS PROTECTION FOR YOUR MOST IMPORTANT ASSET. YOUR JOB.

Speak to a colleague today about the benefits of CPSU membership and have them contribute to our successes rather than just enjoying the benefits.
