EDNEWS: ACFE Restructures Over

Updated 22/04/2016

ACFE has stated very clearly that there is currently no intention on their part to further restructure the workplace and there's also a clear intention to replace all staff who leave the organisation, in particular, the Loddon manager position which will be advertised within the week (This position will not be backfilled prior to Christmas).

With regard to staff professional development ACFE wish to let members know that they support staff PD and encourage staff to take up opportunities that are offered, or identify their individual needs with managers for consideration.

In relation to staff attending Provider PD sessions, it was not management s view that this was necessarily always appropriate. It was however acknowledged the need for staff to have a full understanding of information being given to providers by the organisation.

Currently consideration is being given to a profession development session specifically created to deliver this information to all staff. This session may be delivered at the next major staff central day.

Members with any comments or concerns should contact CPSU Industrial Officer Lynda Smerdon at email lsmerdon@cpsuvic.org or on 03 9639 1822.

At members request, CPSU will arrange a meeting at your workplace.

Please distribute this bulletin and ask your colleagues to join CPSU to have their voice heard and their views represented.
