Back on the Job - Provision of Vehicles and E-Tags
CPSU members returned to work last Friday morning, after our protest at the continuing attacks on conditions of employment. VWA s ‘dash for the cash in taking cars off employees cannot be justified and is nothing more than ripping away conditions of employment, and reneging on agreements entered into in good faith between employees and management.

How would it be viewed by VWA senior managers if a decision was made that cost execs thousands of dollars?

They would rightly be screaming from the rooftops, yet that s exactly what they have done to employees.

CPSU continues to advise members not to participate by refusing to provide VWA with the data they require as part of their so-called review.

Participation may be viewed as approving of the review and, on that basis, members should refuse to participate.

In the meantime, any attempt to reduce conditions of employment in any area within VWA should be notified to CPSU immediately.

Members will be advised of progress as we go forward on this issue.

CPSU - 125 in 2010.

When 1,000 colonial public servants crammed into the Athenaeum Hall in Collins Street on 17 June 1885 to form the Victorian Public Service Association they had no idea that we d be still here and turning 125 this year.
