National Gallery Survey Results

Updated 22/04/2016

There was an incredible response to the survey with 132 NGV employees participating. This is a testament to the hard work of many CPSU members in publicising the survey and encouraging colleagues to participate.

There are some really encouraging results, with over 85% of respondents saying they feel supported by their colleagues. Equally, there are some really concerning results.

The survey has highlighted a number of issues across the NGV workplace, particularly related to excessive workloads, understaffing, unpaid overtime and work-related stress.

In total, the report of the survey responses is 202 pages long. The results presented today are just a summary.

CPSU invites interested members to participate in a committee to analyse the results and establish a strategy for how the issues raised and highlighted by the survey can be addressed.

To register your interest in being involved in establishing a strategy for the NGV workplace, please contact your CPSU Organiser, Clay O’Brien at cobrien@cpsuvic.org or on 9639-1822.
