After discussion with DPS over the past few weeks CPSU has secured an in-principle agreement in relation to 2021 and 2022 capability payments.

The 2022 payment will be paid within the next few pay cycles without a requirement to complete training given the payment was due on the 1st of August.

Employees who did not receive the 2021 payment because they did not complete the required training modules by 3 December 2021 will be given a new four-week window in which to complete the training and receive the payment. Any employees who completed the training after 3 December will be deemed to be eligible without having to do anything further.

DPS have advised they are waiting on the signature of the DPS Secretary to confirm the above in writing along with more detailed information about the dates of payment.
