Grievances and Review of Actions

Public sector workers have a right to fair and reasonable treatment.

If a management decision is detrimental to you, you may be able to lodge an internal grievance.

There are strict time lines that relate to grievance applications - usually 28 days for general grievances and 7 days for selection grievances. Members should check with their HR departments with respect to timelines and relevant forms.

CPSU's Entitlements & Compliance Team may support and represent members in relation to the running of grievances. Please contact us if you have any questions or need assistance.
