Happy Pay Day - VPSA2006:

The last salary increase arising from our Victorian Public Service Agreement 2006 was due on 1st October this year and should have been paid on the first pay day after that date, which is today Thursday 9th October.

This increase amounts to hundreds of extra dollars for ALL VPS employees and is in addition to progression payments under the VPS Career Structure.

What's Next? - VPSA2009:

Our current Agreement (VPSA 06) expires on 1st March next year and this week s pay rise is the last under this Agreement.

CPSU negotiated service wide Agreements have set new standards of employment across ALL government Departments and buried the divisive and inferior individual workplace agreements (AWA s) pursued throughout the 90 s by the previous Kennett government.

CPSU has commenced our preparation for the new bargaining round by engaging with our members about the items and issues that members believe need to be addressed.

Pay Rises, Classification structural changes, Allowances, Leave, Workload & Superannuation are all issues being identified by members.

What you want and what happens next is up to you ‚Äö?Ѭ?..
