GWMWater NEWS: Itinerary for EBA Vote
Water members commence voting on above Industry Pay Rises and the O/T Ceiling Removal which all add up to a new Agreement worth supporting with the final version of the Agreement having been on the Intranet and a summary of all the alterations has also been circulated to all employees.
CPSU Recommends Members Vote YES as the Key Features include:
- 4% per annum for three years.
- Complete elimination of KPI s
- Clarification and clean out of clauses that repeat or are ambiguous e.g.: Logical completion of work
- Removal of Level C overtime ceiling
- Increase in notifying overtime from 48 to 72 hours
- Extending opportunities to apply and appeal reclassification
- Extending recognition for LSL
- Tighter OHS compliance
- Increase all allowances per CPI
- Increase and extend on call allowances and travelling time
- Improve make up pay conditions
- Better management of TIL and RDO s.
- Insert IRV recommendations for family friendly leave and other conditions
- Strengthen role of Consultative Committee and Notification of change etc.
The GWMWater EBA is a variation to the current EBA.
The negotiations have been assisted by two very good delegates, Brian Lang and Steve Parish and CPSU would like to acknowledge their good work towards delivering this outcome for staff.
The delegates, GWMWater and CPSU believe the EBA represents a good outcome and recommend members vote YES during the EBA vote worksite visits commencing tomorrow.

Staff unable to attend one of these locations will be able to vote between the hours of 8:00 and 17:00 from Friday 12 June to Thursday 18 June, at the People and Culture Office at McLachlan St Horsham.
