Thank you to all involved in this fantastic outcome.  The new Victorian Public Service Agreement has been approved by the Fair Work Commission and becomes effective on 18th May 2016. The first pay rise, 1.75% backdated to 1 January 2016, will be paid on Thursday 26th May in most Departments and this equates to hundreds of extra dollars and should put a slight spike in your take home pay each fortnight. I encourage you to approach one of your colleagues who is not yet a CPSU member to ask them whether they’d like to contribute as well as receive the benefits of our bargaining work.
