Additional Super payments backdated to 1 July will now be provided to our Forest Fire Management (FFMVic) firefighters with 13.5% for operational staff, and for non-operational staff for hours worked in fire response.

Additional Super payments backdated to 1 July will now be provided to our Forest Fire Management (FFMVic) firefighters with 13.5% for operational staff, and for non-operational staff for hours worked in fire response.

The Super boost to 13.5% applies to approx 3,000 government agency employees who have public land fire and emergency management response roles. 

CPSU argued these fire fighters should be eligible to receive increased compulsory employer superannuation contributions, in line with rates available to CFA and MFB employees.
