Olive Leaf - After Hours CP - Ten Hour Break ‚Äö?Ñ?¨ Whole Shift Payment
After Hours Child Protection Service Ten Hour Break ‚Äö?Ñ?¨ Whole Shift Payment
CPSU has now been formally advised that DHS will rectify the shift underpayments following our representations.
These underpayments arose when employees commenced work later than the rostered time to comply with the ten hour break but where not paid for the whole shift as required by our EBA.
This was not picked up by DHS when clause 9.3 of Appendix 7 of our Victorian Public Service Agreement 2006 (CENTRAL AFTER HOURS CHILD PROTECTION SERVICE - TEN HOUR BREAK) came into affect, resulting in some AHS employees being underpaid.
To identify those employees who have been underpaid, DHS will retrieve all timesheets and check to identify and pay those employees who have been underpaid.
As this relates to our 2006 Agreement, timesheets will be checked from 14 March 2006 (the effective date of the Agreement).
