Labor looks likely to achieve majority government and be able to achieve its industrial relations agenda, of re-balancing Fair Work, fix the bargaining limitations placed on unions, improve pay outcomes, increase the umpires powers to redefine casual employment, make work more secure by establishing 'same job, same pay' rules and abolish the ABCC and ROC.

Labor also looks to be in a good position to push IR change in the Senate, as it and the Greens could hold 37 seats, (25 Labor and 12 Greens), just short of a majority and be able to rely on Jacqui Lambie Network senators, who might double their representation to two after the election.
