The public service plays a crucial role in building and sustaining a Victoria that works for everyone.
Every day, public servants work to make sure that our hospitals run, that our children have quality education, and to make our communities safer and cleaner.
Our public service workers must be supported and empowered to keep doing the vital work that keeps our state running.
But with the state election approaching, this is all at risk. Both the Liberals and One Nation have publicly stated their plans to massively cut public service jobs, with tens of thousands of jobs on the chopping block. And the Labor Party isn't much better with over 1000 jobs slashed so far as part of the 'Silver Review' and more on the horizon.
Together we can fight back. It's time to send a clear message to all candidates in this election that the community supports a strong public service and won't support further cuts.
