Proposal to Realign Urban Development with Planning & Local Government.

A proposal to realign the Urban Development business unit within Planning and Local Government has been announced and affects members in the following way:

• Reorganisation of three teams into two, both reporting to the Assistant Director, Urban Design
• Reporting line change for three staff members who will be realigned to the relevant portfolio
• Team leaders of the two areas will have relevant staff reporting to them to match the portfolio groupings.

The Department alleges that ‘there is no impact on employee working conditions and responsibilities .
