From Prison health Issues to writs against individual Forensic experts, from a National Apology to the decimation of DPI rural research institutes, and from a combined Union Campaign to protect Injured Workers from recommendations arising from the Hanks Review to developing claims that union members seek to negotiate into our next Victorian Public Service Agreement due in early 2009, its been a big year.

Vital Stats:

- CPSU in Victoria has 70 EBA s, nearly 15,000 members and 4,400 worksites across Victoria and NSW.
- 1,398 new members were recruited this year up from 1,234 new members last year.
- A net growth of 4,579 members (representing a 57% increase) since 1 January 2000.
- 8 Enterprise Bargaining Agreements were negotiated for members this year. (12 in 2007).
- 609 applications for representation from members were received this year. (503 in 2007)
- 297 implementation of change advice letters were received this year from agencies hell bent on restructuring. (294 in 2007)
- An operating surplus for the 07/08 financial year of $148,188 (30 June 2007: surplus of $464,976).
