Parks: Ranger in Charge Review Success.

Updated 22/04/2016

Ranger in Charge Review Success.

CPSU has been actively working on the RIC review working group after this working group was established as part of our EBA outcomes to address the issue of RIC grade and work value anomalies.

Following the working groups recommendations Parks Victoria management have formally written to the CPSU detailing proposed changes for RIC s across the state.

CPSU accepts the proposed changes and is encouraged that over half of all Ranger in Charge positions will be upgraded as a result.

Salary outcomes will be effective from the 1st of July and any member who feels that their RIC role has not been appropriately addressed can utilise their provisions under the EBA to resolve any concerns.
