Preparing for Grade - Value Range Reclassification for Property Officers

In late 2010 CPSU advised they would be conducting a workshop to assist CPSU members prepare a case to have their positions reviewed and we have been contacted by members and scheduled a training day for Monday 24th January 2011.

Members are advised to bring with them their relevant approved position descriptions and any prepared statement of the duties required for their role in the positions.

Members are also advised to study the Value range resizing template and the Grade Reclassification documentation which can be obtained from the People Department through the Organisational Alignment Unit.

CPSU can also email these items to you upon request.

CPSU thanks members who have already indicated their availability but will still have to fill in the Training Enrolment form (see below).

The course will be run 9.00 am – 3.00 pm Monday 24 January 2011 at CPSU s Richmond office.

How to Enrol

All members are requested to fill out an “approved” application for CPSU training form and return it by email to ecastle@cpsuvic.org or fax to Emily Castle (03) 9662 4591 before training is confirmed, or contact Emily Castle, Industrial Officer, CPSU - 03 9639 1822 or toll free 1800 810 153 or by email.

CPSU MEMBERS ARE ENTITLED TO PAID TIME RELEASE. Members should request paid time release asap from their managers and contact your industrial organiser, Emily Castle immediately if your request to attend is rejected.

Access - Short walk from Richmond, East Richmond or South Yarra Railway Stations OR No. 70 tram along Swan St. from Wattle Park or Docklands OR or No. 78 tram along Chapel / Church St. from Prahran or Nth Richmond.
Parking - Limited to public pay parking directly behind CPSU, on the other side of the railway line in Green St, directly behind the CPSU office & between Swan and Stephenson Sts. (access via Cremorne St.) Private pay parking in Palmer Parade is available – ring 8420 1040, 8am to 5pm to book or get details.
Meals - Biscuits, tea & coffee are provided for breaks. Cafes / Take-aways are located nearby. Lunch is not provided.
