Fine Points - Vehicles - Mass Meeting

Updated 22/04/2016

Regional Operational Vehicle Management Meeting
CPSU Sheriffs' members have attended a number of meetings, both at Fair Work Australia and with DOJ representatives, regarding the notification in October to introduce the Regional Operational Vehicle Management Policy.

Whilst there are many issues regarding the implementation of the Policy, which we will need to negotiate with DOJ, the immediate impact for Sheriffs will be the loss of the vehicle to commute to and from work.

DOJ have now provided their final position, during negotiations with your delegates and CPSU. It is now time to get together on mass to discuss the departments offer and your views.

SHERIFFS MASS MEETING

WHEN: Tuesday 9 November
TIME: 11.00am
WHERE: Victorian Trades Hall
Cnr Lygon & Victoria St, Carlton South
Council Chambers, Level 2 (Rear of Building)

It is essential that as many sheriffs attend as possible, as members will be making decisions on the day. If you have any questions please contact Organiser Julie McKeown at jmckeown@cpsuvic.org or call the union office on 9639-1822.

Please distribute this bulletin and ask your colleagues to join CPSU to have their voice heard and their views represented.

YOUR JOB.

Speak to a colleague today about the benefits of CPSU membership and have them contribute to our successes rather than just enjoying the benefits.

CPSU - 125 in 2010.

When 1,000 colonial public servants crammed into the Athenaeum Hall in Collins Street on 17 June 1885 to form the Victorian Public Service Association they had no idea that we'd be still here and turning 125 this year.

TOGETHER WE DO BETTER!
