Whole of Government NAIDOC Week Events

Updated 09/11/2020

NAIDOC Week celebrations are being held across Australia between 8–15 November this year to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Aboriginal communities, but by Australians from all walks of life recognising that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.

With the impact of Covid preventing us from coming together to celebrate in person this year, VPS departments have coordinated three special online events to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2020 under this year’s theme Always Was Always Will Be.
