Your Super is Up, PS Mobility is Paid, & Min Wage Increases

Brought to you by the union movement, July 1 begins the new financial year which delivers the long awaited increase in our Super with the Employer Guarantee to increase to 10 per cent. The SG is the minimum percentage of your salary that your employer is required to pay into your super fund. It was previously set at a rate of 9.5 per cent, having increased from 9.25 per cent in the 2014-15 financial year. The SG is legislated to increase to 12 per cent by 2025, with the next 0.5 per cent rise coming into play in July next year.
