One Dose Target Date as Lockdown Extended to Stop the Spread

Almost all of the current lockdown restrictions will remain in place until 70 per cent of Victorians have got one dose.  Estimated to be around September 23.  There are seventy (70) thousand AZ vaccine appointments available now.  Get vaccinatedFrom 11.59pm on Thursday 2nd September, playgrounds will reopen with QR code’s.  Only open for kids under 12, and one parent/carer can attend with a mask.  Year 12 students will be given priority vaccine booking access from Tuesday 7 September.  Face-to-face learning for students will NOT resume for Term 3, with a "detailed plan" for what Term 4 may look like to be released next week.  Regional Victoria, aside from Shepparton, will open up at a faster pace than metropolitan Melbourne and more detail about this will also be released next week. 

When 70% of Victorians have had at least one vaccine dose then restrictions can be further eased.

⁃5km radius will expand to 10km
⁃Victorians can exercise up to 3hrs
⁃Outdoor personal training opens
⁃Construction can increase to 50% IF 90% of workers are vaxxed
